First Aid Training Regulation Changes
Following a recent government review, the regulations that govern First Aid Training have now changed.
On 1st Oct 2013 the HSE approval of first aid training providers ended, meaning that the responsibility for ensuring workplace first aid training is of an acceptable standard has moved from the HSE to the employer.
The First Aid Industry Body is a new organisation which now ensures that training meets the standards required.
Ryedale First Aid Training are registered with the First Aid Industry Body which means that if you book a course with us as an employer you will not have to undertake any due diligence checks and you can be assured that you have fulfilled your legal responsibilities for providing approved quality first aid training.
